Hello, yes it definitely will remove colloidal clay. We recommend a 25:1 dual-grade Big Blue pre-filter ahead of it. If you have a tremendous amount of sediment and clay, it's not a bad idea to have a sediment backwashing filter first, then the Big Blue filter, then the UF system.
